My name is Michael, I am English and I am 23 years old. On the 11th of September 2001 I was glued to my TV screen because on that day the new leader of the Conservative Party was due to be announced, less than an hour after the attacks on New York and Washington and as a Politics Student, I was interested in what the result would be. It was not announced for two weeks but what I saw on my television changed my opinion of the entire world far more than the result of any election.
Living in th UK we have always dealt with terrorism on our soil from foreigners, as you have not pre-9/11, in the form of the IRA and there has always been a degree of resentment towards the Americans from myself and many others, especially the Kennedy's because they supported the Irish, Catholic TERRORISTS. These people are not and never were freedom fighters as many people from your nation claimed and supported for so long, but terrorists.
But what happened then awakaned the world. When I saw what happened on 09/11, I turned my television off and then on again. I could not believe that it was real. Just like with the Tsunami this year. But there is a difference with 9/11 and the Tsunami, because no man or men was involved in the evil of a tidal wave, nobody wanted that to happen.
So for all the idiots who praise Osama Bin Laden, for all the idiot Americans who think terrorism on an international scale started on 09/11, I appeal to you all to accept that evey nation has funded and supported some form of terrorist, but it must stop NOW.
The UK and the USA bought Saddam weapons for the Iran v Iraq war. The CIA armed Afghanistan. The US Irish politic armed the IRA. They may not have been involved in 9/11, bought they killed people over the years. They tried to kill our entire gvernment.
It all needs to stop.
I have posted this message here because I have noted on this site that every cowardly idiot who praises terrorism as a "joke" does so on a picture where there is no human face to see and see the pain in.
So, to every soul who is heaven because of 9/11, Rest In Peace my friend. But also, every English, Irish, Iraqi, Iranian, Lebanese, Palestinian, Israeli, Spanish, Italian and my Lord the list could go on, but for every person with a poltic believe, answer me this, if you want change, why not vote? And if you cannot vote, why is that? If you were in the USA, who you supposedley hate, you could make your point and live to see tomorrow.
